Joni Koten, Office Manager

I am excited to be a part of the team here at Lindale Pet Hospital along with my husband, Dr. Nick Koten. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Animal Science from Texas A & M in 2010 and currently serve as the clinic’s office manager. As a lifelong animal lover and a native Texan, this job is the ideal fit for me.

I am passionate about all animals, both big and small. I enjoy rescuing and rehabilitating animals so they can lead the best life possible. I also enjoy training animals and am proud to have trained my own golden retriever to work as a service dog.

Besides animals and my family, my other big passion in life is being outdoors. I like to plant flowers and vegetables in my own garden as well as fruit trees. My husband and I enjoy riding horses, and spending time with our son Landon and daughter Addison.

My motto in life is “Family, no matter who or what they are, is the most important thing in life. You can’t get that back once it’s gone, so enjoy and love them while you can because tomorrow is never guaranteed.” I know that your animals are a part of your family and I’m happy to play a role in keeping them with you for as long as possible.

I’ve worked in a boarding/daycare facility for 2 years and fell in love with being around dogs all day long. Thanks to Joni and Dr. Koten for choosing me to become a part of this awesome team!
